Kuwait City’s skyline has gained a powerful new digital presence. At Oula Tower, Unilumin has delivered Kuwait’s first large-scale transparent LED façade, transforming one of the city’s prominent structures into a dynamic canvas for advertising and visual storytelling.

Measuring an impressive 52.8 metres wide and 29 metres high, the installation covers almost 1,600 sqm, making it the largest outdoor transparent LED display in Kuwait. Powered by Unilumin’s O-H2550F/Pro transparent LED solution, the façade combines scale, visibility and high-performance display technology to create an advertising platform designed to command attention across the surrounding cityscape.

What makes the project particularly significant is its placement. Installed high across the tower façade, the screen offers an expansive viewing range, allowing campaigns to make an impression from considerable distances and multiple vantage points. For advertisers, this transforms traditional building space into a high-impact digital medium where brands can communicate through motion, colour and immersive visual storytelling.

With brightness reaching 10,000 nits, the display is engineered to deliver vivid and clear content even under Kuwait’s intense daylight conditions. At night, the façade takes on another dimension, bringing campaigns to life against the city skyline and creating a memorable visual experience.

Transparency is equally important to the project. Rather than turning the building façade into a conventional solid digital wall, the transparent LED solution integrates with the architecture while helping maintain visibility through the façade from inside the tower. The result balances commercial communication with the building’s architectural environment.

For brands, the value goes beyond the sheer size of the screen. Its prominent location, elevation and broad viewing range create the potential for significant daily exposure among motorists, residents, businesses and visitors moving through Kuwait City. Each campaign becomes part of the urban landscape, giving advertisers an opportunity to build stronger digital impressions and create experiences that audiences can recognise and remember.

The Oula Tower project also reflects the continuing evolution of Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) across the Middle East, where buildings are increasingly becoming platforms for dynamic communication and experiences.

By bringing together almost 1,600 sqm of transparent LED technology, 10,000-nit brightness and a commanding position on the Kuwait City skyline, Unilumin has created more than an LED installation. It has created a new digital landmark, one where technology, architecture and advertising come together to turn everyday visibility into extraordinary visual impact.
