Recently, Unilumin successfully passed the strict on-site audit and evaluation by the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, and once again awarded the “AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Advanced Certification.” Since first acquiring this certification in 2018, Unilumin has consistently maintained its status in the highest credit rating ranks of foreign trade enterprises by China Customs. This renewal marks a brand-new stage of development in terms of import and export customs clearance, global supply chain assurance, and cross-departmental policy benefits.

AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) is a globally unified trade credit system advocated by the World Customs Organization (WCO). Within the five-tier credit system of China Customs, the AEO Advanced Certification is the highest level.

The certification standards are extremely rigorous. The audit team conducts a full-process on-site inspection based on four core dimensions: internal control, financial status, legal compliance, and global supply chain security. Unilumin successfully passed the audit by virtue of its sound modern management system, strict security compliance standards, and robust financial performance. This is not only the highest official credit endorsement from the customs authorities for foreign trade enterprises, but also fully proves that Unilumin’s compliance risk control and refined management in global operations have reached top international standards.

As a technology enterprise with a core global expansion strategy, Unilumin, with its successful acquisition of the AEO Advanced Certification, will gain comprehensive, tangible business benefits and delivery guarantees for itself and its global partners:

• After receiving this certification, Unilumin’s import and export cargo inspection rate will drop to less than 20% of that for regular enterprises (with the actual inspection rate maintained at around 0.3%). At the same time, Unilumin will enjoy full-process “green channel” services such as priority document review, priority inspection, appointment-based customs clearance, and pre-arrival release. For customers, this means orders can effectively bypass conventional waiting lines. Even during logistics interruptions caused by force majeure, Unilumin enjoys priority clearance rights upon recovery, minimizing the impact of unpredictable port delays and ensuring that overseas client projects remain strictly on schedule.

• China has achieved AEO mutual recognition with 22 economies and 48 countries/regions, including the EU, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore. When Unilumin products arrive at these destinations, customers directly benefit from this premium status at their local ports. Local customs will grant conveniences such as extremely low inspection rates, dedicated contact windows, and priority clearance. This seamless cross-border experience significantly reduces local port dwell times, and lowers warehousing costs.

• This certification requires the enterprise to complete full-chain standardized closed-loop management, covering supplier admission, plant security, container sealing, and document ledgers. Against the backdrop of frequent global trade frictions and tightening port regulations, this AEO-backed compliance acts as a robust shield. For customers, it guarantees a highly transparent, risk-minimizing, and stable partnership, ensuring that high-quality products are shielded from geopolitical logistics risks and are delivered safely and reliably.

In addition, Unilumin was also awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal this year, ranking among the top 6% of companies globally. As one of the world’s most credible and widely used sustainability assessment platforms, EcoVadis provides ratings that serve as a key benchmark for leading global brands to evaluate and select supply chain partners, making it a key reference for sustainable procurement worldwide.
