From July 30 to August 9, 2026, the 33rd GIIAS 2026 (GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show) is being held at ICE BSD City near Jakarta. More than 1,000 square meters of Unilumin LED displays bring vehicle launches, brand storytelling, and exhibition spaces to life for leading global automotive brands.
Recognized as a world-class auto show series, GIIAS 2026 brings together more than 60 automotive brands from markets including Japan, South Korea, Europe, the United States, China and Vietnam, alongside more than 150 supporting-industry brands. This year’s edition is described as the largest and most comprehensive event ever organized by GAIKINDO, further strengthening its position among the world’s major automotive exhibitions outside China.
Across the exhibition floor, Unilumin LED solutions support vehicle presentations, multimedia content and immersive brand environments for a wide range of automotive and mobility companies. Unilumin displays account for more than 80% of the LED screens deployed at the show, with a total application area spanning over 1,000 square meters.
Supporting Global Automotive Brands
Unilumin displays are featured across booths for internationally recognized brands including Daihatsu, Nissan, XPENG, Audi, Changan, Volvo, VinFast, and others. The solutions are also used by automotive ecosystem and financial-services exhibitors, including Astra Financial and TAF.

Large-format LED walls, stage backdrops and creative display structures allow exhibitors to present vehicle design, intelligent-driving technologies and brand narratives with greater visual impact. High-resolution content helps create a seamless connection between physical vehicles and digital storytelling, turning conventional exhibition booths into immersive communication spaces.
Robust by Design, Limitless in Application
Behind these stunning visual performances lie Unilumin’s reliable technology and outstanding product quality. Unilumin’s rental solutions are further strengthened by U-shield technology, which is integrated into most of the displays used at GIIAS 2026. Developed to address the durability challenges caused by frequent installation, dismantling and transportation, U-shield provides up to 5 times greater protection than conventional SMD LEDs and can reduce lamp damage by as much as 90%.
In addition to extending product lifespan and reducing maintenance requirements, the technology improves display brightness and viewing angles, helping deliver consistently high-quality visual performance throughout demanding exhibition schedules. By minimizing downtime and lowering servicing costs, U-shield also enhances operational efficiency and strengthens return on investment for rental applications.

Alongside enhanced durability, Unilumin’s rental solutions are also designed to improve transportation, installation and on-site maintenance efficiency. The URM III series, one of the principal solutions deployed at GIIAS 2026, is developed for exhibitions, touring events and temporary installations, and is used across multiple booths at the event, including those of Nissan, XPENG, Audi, Changan, Volvo, VinFast and Mazda.

Designed for fast and efficient event deployment, the URM III features an ultra-slim 71 mm cabinet, with each 500 × 500 mm panel weighing just 7.3 kg. Its lightweight construction, combined with a Click-lock system that automatically secures stacked panels, enables true single-person installation and significantly accelerates the assembly of large-scale LED displays. The Pinch n’ Go module, tool-free magnetic design and pop-up power box also allow fast maintenance and precise repositioning, helping event teams minimize downtime throughout demanding exhibition schedules.
For more creative designs, URM III supports concave and convex configurations from -10° to 10°. It can also be combined with the flexible URM III-S or URM III-C cabinet, which supports curves of up to ±45° or cubes, enabling designers to bring greater flexibility and visual impact to high-end live events.

The UGM Ⅱ series is also deployed at the show, including at Great Wall Motor, Astra Financial, and TAF exhibition spaces. It delivers rugged reliability and operational efficiency to maximize event uptime. With structural strength increased by 40% and a load capacity of up to 1.2 tons per cabinet, the UGM Ⅱ Series delivers exceptional durability without compromising portability. Its ultra-slim 63 mm profile and lightweight 6.5/11.8 kg cabinet design enable faster installation while reducing transportation and handling costs. IP65-rated protection, rear-access maintenance, and ergonomic installation features allow the display to adapt seamlessly to both indoor and outdoor applications, minimizing on-site labor and downtime.

Beyond robust build quality, the UGMⅡ Series delivers stunning broadcast-grade visuals with up to 7680Hz refresh rate and 16bit grayscale, paired with adjustable brightness for optimal viewing in any lighting condition. It supports versatile creative setups including curved screens, columns, cubes and waterfall installations, unlocking limitless possibilities from a single display.
Advancing Digital Storytelling in the Automotive Industry As automotive exhibitions evolve from product-centered displays into multimedia brand experiences, LED technology is becoming an increasingly important part of exhibition architecture. High-performance displays enable automotive brands to communicate vehicle features, intelligent technologies and lifestyle concepts through dynamic content.
Through its extensive deployment at GIIAS 2026, Unilumin demonstrates how reliable, flexible and service-friendly LED systems can support the complex demands of major international automotive events. The project also reflects Unilumin’s continued commitment to working with partners to create engaging digital environments that connect audiences, products and brand stories.
